Pyramids have varied uses and symbolic meanings.  

Often times gemstone pyramids are used as meditation aids, healing tools, energy amplifiers or beautiful decor.

My favorite way to look at the pyramid is the base represents the physical body, the sides represent the journey of life and the point represents union with one's higher self. I can speak from personal experience and say union with your higher self is a magical place to be. When you are one with who you are, you are tuned in to the creative energies of the universe.
