Aquamarine is in the family of minerals called Beryl. Seeing them in the rough or raw state is a delight to behold, with their dreamy blue hues on display for the world to enjoy. The tumbled varieties are an affordable way to work with the energies of this stone.  

Aquamarines are blue to blue green colored stones, which is interesting considering how some people find this stone to offer support in connecting the throat and heart chakras together.  The throat being blue and the heart being green.  This connection may help in offering clear heartfelt communication.
